▪ Shuttle Conveyor is self propelled type.- ▪ On a pair of fixed rails, these conveyors are mounted with guided wheels which moves on rails in to & fro directions.
- ▪ Guide wheels are powered with electric motor and gear box fixed at one wheel.
- ▪ These conveyors are used to convey material at multiple discharge points at fixed intervals or continuous uniform discharge along the travel length as required.
- ▪ These conveyors have discharge at both tail & head ends to convey material in both directions by driving belt in both directions.
- ▪ Most commonly these conveyors are used at / on storage Bunker top for storage of large quantities of material.
