Wet Scrappers | SV Conveyors

SVCE are specialized in Wetscrappers to meet client’s requirement. Generally used to collect discharged material from furnace / boiler at very high temperatures like Bagasse, Clay Dirt, Coal, Fly Ash & slag etc. Wet scrapper design is similar to chain conveyor. However the construction differs in Tail and Drive ends. Water filled in Trough helps to reduce discharge material temperature. Largely used in Coal Ash & Bio-mass Handling and Sponge iron & power plants.

This equipment consists of:

▪ Tail End & Drive end……… in inclined position normally.
▪ Scrappers fixed with cast steel chains at regular intervals.
▪ Runs at slow speed for positive / continuous discharge for highly abrasive material.
▪ Bottom and Top trough fixed with cast basalt liners to withstand heat and abrasiveness of material.
▪ nlet and outlet pipes for water filling.
